That's where Trail & Error began.

Born in South Wales, surrounded by rugged coastlines, rolling hills and more than our fair share of drizzle, Trail & Error was created for people who feel most at home with muddy boots, salty sea air and a path stretching out in front of them.

We believe the best adventures don't always go to plan. Sometimes you miss the turning, sometimes the weather has other ideas, and sometimes the best views are found because you wandered the wrong way.

That's all part of the journey.

In fact, that's exactly where our name comes from.

Trail & Error is a reminder that the best moments outdoors often happen when things don't go perfectly. A wrong turn becomes a hidden viewpoint. An unexpected shower turns into the story you tell afterwards. The trail has a funny way of rewarding curiosity.

Because life isn't about finding the perfect path.

It's about enjoying the one you're on.

Every Trail & Error item is printed to order.

That means we only make what's needed, helping to reduce waste and avoid shelves full of unwanted stock.

It's a slower, more thoughtful approach to clothing, and one that reflects the way we'd rather do things.

We work with carefully selected print partners to produce every order as close to its destination as possible, helping to keep delivery times fast while maintaining high print quality.

Inspired by Real Trails

Trail & Error wasn't dreamed up in a boardroom or created by a fashion company.

It grew from countless miles exploring the hills, coast paths and countryside of the UK, inspired by a simple belief that time outdoors has a remarkable way of clearing your head and putting life back into perspective.

Behind the brand is a genuine love of hiking, photography and discovering the quieter corners of Britain.
